All classes are taught by Master Constantino Terrigno,
a certified 5th Degree Black Belt with 29 years martial arts experience, and 18 years teaching.

His martial arts training began in 1981 in Kyokushinkai, followed by Isshinryu, both Japanese systems of karate. He currently holds a Brown Belt in Isshinryu. Wanting a more traditional martial art, he discovered and has been training in Tang Soo Do since 1987.

His original instructors in New York were Master Darrell Schulze and Master Young Ki Hong. Master Hong is the son-in-law of the late founder of Tang Soo Do and an internationally respected martial artist. Master Schulze, a student of Master Young Ki Hong, also studied Tae Kwon Do with the legendary S. Henry Cho.

With his original instructors no longer active in Tang Soo Do, Master Terrigno began training in 2008 with Grandmaster Andy Ah Po, 9th Dan and founder of the Tang Soo Do Martial Way Association. Grandmaster Ah Po, with 63 years in the martial arts (51 years in Tang Soo Do), was a direct student and trusted personal escort of the late Grandmaster Hwang Kee, founder of Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan.

Master Terrigno received his 2nd degree Black Belt and Teacher's certificate (Kyo Sa) in 1992, and his 4th degree and Master Instructor's certificate (Sa Bom) in April of 1999. On October 17, 2009 he was awarded his 5th Degree.

Master Terrigno has competed and given  demonstrations at numerous local, regional and national events and is a 2-time Forms Grand Champion. He is also the creator and editor of Tang Soo Do World, a website which debuted in March 2007 and is the number one Tang Soo Do reference site on the internet.
